Jan. 4 - Futaleufu is the land of slow computers

Just a brief note to you all to let you know that we will work on updating the blog with photos on Jan. 6 when we have a four hour layover in Puerto Montt airport, which has a decent internet cafe. In the meantime, we are in the heart of Patagoina in Futaleufu, a TINY little town in the mountains built around an outdoor adventure industry. There´s one internet cafe here, but it takes about 10 minutes to download one photo, so we´re giving up. Plus, we´re a little too busy playing to sit at computers. Suffice to say, we LOVE it here and just had one of the best rafting days of our lives. Last night was our 6 month anniversary and tomorrow marks one month on vacation. Life is good. Check back in a couple days for more details.

Beautiful picture. I'm totally jealous.

Don't worry about the updates, it just makes us stiffs at work feel bad anyway :) (By the way, I think I average about 3 visits a day on your site). I figured there would come a time where posting on this blog would be more of a burden than fun. I don't think you are there yet, but I doubt you want to stop rock climbing or river rafting just to run into a town looking for a computer.

Keep having adventures and I can't wait for the paperback edition.

Maybe there's T1 connection at the end of that rainbow.

Thought I'd let you know, Cully actually tried to go after Raja this morning. He ran away when she turned to look at him, pretty funny stuff.
